In November 2014, my health took a turn for the worst. I was unable to work out, and I was on medications that affected my appetite, mood, and weight. I gained 25 pounds, and was absolutely miserable in my own body and skin. I grew up in shape, never had weight issues, and I always was in control of my body. Once I lost control, I was affected both physically and mentally. I had lost my confidence, was miserable, did not feel well, was not happy with myself, and was uncomfortable in my own skin. These were all new feelings for me, and I had a very difficult time handling them.

I randomly came across Brittany’s Instagram account one day, and became very intrigued by her. Looking back 8 months later, I couldn’t be happier that I stumbled upon her. Brittany was the sense of hope that I needed, and has continued to help me find “me” again. She has allowed me to finally understand balance, and has ridden me of the overwhelming guilt and dissatisfaction I experienced with my food choices, lifestyle choices, and body. I went from hating everything about the way I looked and longing for my old figure, to embracing my body and anticipating my continued fitness journey. Brittany is remarkable, and I couldn’t be more thankful for her guidance.
